758 ReviewsDiscover Guadalmina Canyon near Marbella on a canyoning adventure. Jump into the pools, swim through the incredible caves, and try rappeling down rock faces.
The slopes can get a little busy in the high season, so be aware if you're a beginner and not comfortable on your skis or snowboard.
The Sierra Nevada ski slopes cover an expanse of 100km and offer some great runs for beginners, intermediates and experienced skiiers and snowboarders.
There are 115 runs in total including 18 green (easiest) , 40 blue, 50 red, and 9 black (hardest) and you can take lifts up from the main square in Pradallano village right to the top of the mountain to start your skiing or snowboarding.
There are eight areas you can ski and snowboard all based around the main village and longest run is the Agúila slope in the Veleta area and is a red run of 6180m. There are also several areas off-piste, but these are really for the experienced and aren't supervised.
If you are a beginner taking to the slopes then we advise booking some lessons with a ski or snowboard tutor. Skiing is the easiest out of the two, so we would recommend that first, and the ski schools can be located at the base of the slopes.
